Allison provides SEC and RIA regulatory research. Use is subject to these terms and your applicable agreement with the Allison operator.

Informational research and human review

Allison may use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to generate content, outputs, or other information, from the underlying content, and may include features to simulate, process, or engage in human conversation in a natural way. AI-generated content (i) may be inaccurate and requires human review, (ii) is provided for general, non-tailored informational purposes only and is intended to provide compliance and regulatory knowledge, and (iii) should not be relied upon as a substitute for legal, accounting, tax, or other professional advice. Any output from Allison is not intended to and does not constitute professional advice or a service provided to you by the Allison operator.

Have the appropriate person at your firm or qualified counsel review an answer and its sources before acting, filing, advising a client, or setting policy. An answer is not a clearance, certification, or approval of your conduct.

Sources and limitations

Classifications describe the checks performed against Allison’s available research corpus. A quoted source and a grounded classification do not guarantee a complete or legally correct conclusion. Read every limitation and qualification together with the answer.

The corpus timestamp records when material was indexed, not the effective date of each provision. Individual authorities may have been amended, repealed, superseded, or interpreted differently. Confirm current authority and any relevant exceptions independently. An absence of matching authority is not evidence that no rule applies.

Accounts and acceptable use

Use only your assigned account, keep your credentials private, and follow your firm’s access rules. Do not try to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, access another user’s records, or use Allison for unlawful activity. Contact your firm’s Allison administrator if you believe an account has been compromised.

Submit general scenarios without client-identifying or confidential details. Automated scrubbing is limited and may miss identifying information. See the privacy notice before submitting a question.

Evidence and review

Saved research and evidence exports support your review process. Marking an answer for review adds a personal follow-up item; it does not automatically send the answer to counsel or obtain approval. You remain responsible for arranging review and preserving any records your firm requires.

Service arrangements

Availability, account administration, retention, and other service arrangements follow your firm’s applicable agreement. Questions about access or these terms should go to the person who manages Allison for your firm.
